Track Palin In Custody On Domestic Violence Charges, This Could Explain Sarah Missing GOP Convention

Little Green Footballs blogger Charles Johnson tonight directed his Twitter followers to the website of Alaska’s judicial system, which shows that Track Palin has been “remanded into custody” on the three charges that resulted from his drunken attack on his girlfriend in January.

Those three charges are Class A misdemeanors and at this writing there’s no news account on why they would result in Track Palin being remanded. However, the Twitterverse is already buzzing that this may be why Mama Grizzly will not speaking at the GOP convention. Earlier today Donald Trump waved away questions about Palin’s absence from the list of convention speakers, saying that “Alaska is a long ways away.” Uh huh.

According to police reports released after the arrest, Track Palin drunkenly beat his girlfriend, then put an AR-15 to his head and taunted her for not believing he’d kill himself, saying, “Do you think I’m a pussy?” Sarah Palin then earned national ridicule when she declared that her son beats women because President Obama doesn’t have “respect for veterans.”

But the site owner had an epiphany about the bigotry of the Republicans. These days, it's a pretty good place for finding out about what bad things Republicans are doing.

Disgusted with the blame game, he made a bad choice, he has a problem, he is a bully. Has President Obama ever beat his wife, no then look to the training her son received.

it was more likely because she was not the Veep choice and she's in a snit. She's never let little things like what may be best for her children stop her from doing anything before, which is likely why they are such a mess generally.

But with Palin and Trump, no one knows for sure what passes for logic in those warped minds. They live in parallel universes.

This was on the thread about Trump saying SP won't attend because Alaska is too far away.

19. That's really pathetic.
Maybe she told him, "No, I have to wash my hair that night."

Other excuses:
She's hanging around Alaska in case Trip (or is it Track?) gets arrested and needs bail.

She's waiting for results of pregnancy tests for, well, anyone.
She heard there's a birthday party she'll want to attend, whether she is invited or not.

She sank McCain's campaign and Obama was handily elected. But then again, it's a reach to conclude that Track's cushy military assignments during Obama's time in office were in some any responsible for Track's history of violent behavior. The reason he was shuttled off to military service in the first place was to keep him out of jail based on shit that was already going on. Bad apples tend not to fall too far from their parent trees.

Track's attack on his girlfriend was in January. He was arrested and has been out on bail for months. He did something else wrong, and it must have been a pretty big screwup. Maybe there was a restraining order involved and Track decided to blow it off. That should lead to a new charge though. It is a mystery, and one not being covered at all by any media that I can find.
