Good things about Trump having chosen Pence.
If Trump had chosen someone female or black or Latino or Muslim or Jewish, it would help with the perception that he's a bigot. Mike Pence is none of those.
If Trump had chosen someone with military experience, then HRC may have felt that she needed to do the same. Pence doesn't have military experience, and so Clinton can choose a VP with or without military experience.
