WASHINGTON — The 28 pages of newly declassified material from the 9/11 Commission released Friday by Congress show multiple links to associates of Saudi Arabian Prince Bandar, the former longtime ambassador to the United States.

The following year, Bandar was the catalyst who introduced former South African President Nelson Mandela to American football. The two men were friends, and Bandar accompanied Mandela on a trip to Atlanta. But first, they stopped in Dallas specifically so they could helicopter to Texas Stadium to watch the Cowboys play the Washington Redskins. ....
