That 28 min. "rollout" harangue could be used by medical schools as a textbook illustration of this:

_____Narcissistic personality disorder_____

Definition
By Mayo Clinic Staff

Narcissistic personality disorder is a mental disorder in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance, a deep need for admiration and a lack of empathy for others. But behind this mask of ultraconfidence lies a fragile self-esteem that's vulnerable to the slightest criticism.

Symptoms
By Mayo Clinic Staff

If you have narcissistic personality disorder, you may come across as conceited, boastful or pretentious. You often monopolize conversations. You may belittle or look down on people you perceive as inferior. You may feel a sense of entitlement — and when you don't receive special treatment, you may become impatient or angry. You may insist on having "the best" of everything — for instance, the best car, athletic club or medical care.

This charade has gone beyond even a sick joke. Trump is dangerously mentally unstable and must never be allowed anywhere near the levers of power.

What a damning indictment that a major political party would nominate this precarious personality for the presidency.

The Republican Party must NEVER be allowed to "disremember" this moment of historically feckless and craven political malpractice.

and Palin, a very empty state, for a year and a half.

Dubya may be a dumb drunk and Sarah a stupid bobble-head. But, I'm not sure either of them could be diagnosed as suffering from certifiable mental illness.

Palin's famous penchant for "word salad" is more a function of stupidity than mental derangement, IMHO. Ditto Dubya.

For normal life it's ok! But for leading the most powerful nation?

Trump also OK for normal life. People are entitled to be gross. But for a President of the USA?

But, in a hierarchy of mental derangement, I'd say Dubya and Sarah were "high functioning".

The main thing that separates them from the Talking Yam is that they will "listen" to others and are occasionally capable of changing their behaviors.

Palin as least tried to listen to her handlers in 2008. She was too stupid to learn the lessons, but she DID try. Her narcissism kept her from admitting her failings, though.

Dubya DID listen to Rove et al., as twisted and evil as that counsel may have been. He had zero moral discernment to distinguish whether an action was "good" or "bad", however.

Trump is at a higher level of unhinged, IMO. He thinks he's listening, but his internal voice is drowning out everything. All he really "hears" is: "You're amazing Donny-boy--really yuuuuuge. You're the best, the biggest, the richest, the smartest, etc."

No message can penetrate that internal filter.

He is mentally incapable of making any modifications to his inappropriate behavior.

Think that's a problem with F*ck You money, it doesn't help build character necessarily. Not everyone, though.

BTW, I bet all their IQ's are similar. Dubya, Trump & Palin!

Trump Sr., not that either were role models.

GHWB may occasionally have said "No" to his eldest scion and at least made a pretense of public service.

That seems not to have been the case with F. Trump, who inculcated nothing but the love of money, glitz and "beating" others in his next-to-youngest off-spring.

Some were very nice adaptable people.

Others were very clearly used to everyone..employees and family completely accommodating anything they wanted, They knew they controlled the money and therefore the people. After explaining to a gentleman that he was not allowed to get out of bed after his procedure, he looked at me and said "Young lady, people do not tell me no". I explained we were there to care for him and ensure his safety and that we had him outnumbered and he was not getting out of the bed yet....and he didn't. I watched the family beg and plead with him rather than reason.

There were so many times I wanted to tell them what I thought. They would say "I am paying you" and I would remind them that the hospital paid me. I met quite a few who were used to "no one telling them NO".

I am pretty sure Trump and his money are used to having their way, too.

Calling all adversaries mentally ill is Stalinist. But Trump? He is not merely stupid; he is almost surely ill. I don't see how anyone can deny it.

That WAS used as a weapon so many times in history. "I dont like him, he is against me, therefore he is mentally ill". And back in the old days, you were then put away.
Certainly that wouldnt happen in the US today, but your point is still valid.
