The guy had thrown his life and his family into the toilet and had little left. He got canned from his job, which means even less left.

It probably wasn't hard to convince him to go out in a Jihadi blaze of glory so he could go to heaven and collect his virgins.

However, if they sold him weapons, why were they fakes?

A psychiatrist who saw him in 2004 said that Bouhlel had come to him because of behavioral problems and that he diagnosed him as suffering from"the beginnings of psychosis."

Others who sold him weapons (which apparently didn't work, according to initial reports) have been taken into custody as well. Technically, not part of the planning and effort, but still part of the scene and equally responsible.

Have the people who sold weapons to the Orlando murderer, the Church murder, the cops murders, etc, been arrested or convicted of any crimes relating to those blood baths? I guess not, if the weapons were obtained legally. What a shame....
