I am currently being bored silly by someone named Ashley Carter

of the "Independent Women's Voice", and she is its Grassroot Director.

On C-SPAN. RNC coverage

Ms Carter is telling me how Trump's colorful way of speaking is merely honest dialogue because he says out loud what many of his supporters are thinking, but keeping to themselves.

And as Clinton is a liar (her words) "She will say anything to get elected" - ...colorful bigotry is ever so much better because it is honest.

C-SPAN is currently covering Trump and Women Voters.

As a woman, I must say - Damn.

Damn

Damn

Damn

I need to switch channels or start drinking.

and boy, do they reach.

Best advice is to look at it as a comedy act - it's the only thing that works for me.

And you're correct, they are reaching far and wide to explain away all of Trump's bigotry.

Treating it as some quaint endearment.

Yes, he looks exactly as you'd imagine.

Yes, I know that was mean.

Delegate from Kansas (Brownbackistan)

Her argument?

Even if you don't like Trump (what he says, how he behaves) look to the people he will surround himself with instead.

Remember when Bush/Rove used the same tactic?

If you don't think Shrub is smart, look at all the smart people surrounding him.

The forum is small. Tiny.

Their words echo loudly because the room is almost empty.

The same speakers keep coming back up because so few women are attending.

Wow. Already over!

That's how few women attended this farce.
