Ghostbusters star Leslie Jones is being targeted by racists and misogynists on twitter

Leslie Jones isn’t afraid to speak her mind. Last month, the Ghostbusters star took fashion designers to task who wouldn’t dress her because of her size. Now, the comedian is calling out racist and sexist Internet trolls.

On Monday, Jones announced on Twitter that she was going to stop blocking the nasty messages she’s been receiving online, and the result is horrifying.

“OK, I have been called Apes, sent pics of their asses, even got a pic with semen on my face. I’m tryin to figure out what human means. I’m out,” she wrote. “You know I’m gonna stop blocking so y'all can go through my feed yourself and see the bs. You won’t believe the evil. It’s f***ing scary.”

If they actually met her in real life they wouldn't have guts to say that vile garbage to her. They are in the end just cowards.

when people have any emotions about what is just another flick from the 80's remade. One generation of SNL alumni handing it off to another generation of SNL alumni (like the brilliant Kirsten Whig.) My only beef with this (and a minor beef) as tyhat I would have loved to have seen Annie Potts and Sigourney Weaver worked into this.

Seriously, consider that Ghostbusters had a black Member that was supposed to be played by Richard Pryor (whose accident with fire messed that up.) They are trotting out these race memes? Shit, I wish Mr. Pryor was around to humiliate them (and you KNOW he would have.)

He leads a lot of misogynist bullshit on the internet and really hates the new Ghostbusters. I'm betting he's leading a lot of this crap. Oh and he's every bit as horrible as you might imagine (he can't have an argument without calling someone retarded).

And worst of all (in their minds) she won't shut the fuck up like women are supposed to.

I adore Leslie Jones.

White boys get pouty when it isn't all about them. #notallmen, remember? I had to school my goddamn HUSBAND in why that is so annoying and dismissive. He is learning.
