So those identical words were just an accident. I mean, there are only so many words out there and every now and then somebody is bound to come up with the same combination in the same context, purely accidentally, right?

I'm sure there's a mathematician out there who could come up with the odds of those words being chosen accidentally.

so much as the exact order of usage.

That two people (or two groups) would accidentally pick the same or nearly the same words in the same order... is mathematically so improbable as to defy any logic. The odds against this...

Well, lets say you would need a really warm cup of tea in the improbability drive.. and at missile streaking up out of a planet to attack your ship would turn into a bowl of petunia's whose last thought just before crashing back down on that planet would be "oh no, not again".

because the odds of using those words in that order accidentally are, as you said, spectacularly improbable.

And that's a YYYUUUUUUGGGGGEEE "IF," then surely they have the research capability to detect the similarities and some staff members to say, "Hmmm, this sounds too much like Michelle Obama. Better we re-phrase it."

Every child can see that that whole section of the speech was lifted directly from Michelle Obama's speech, which is TRULY FUCKING WEIRD BEHAVIOR.

It's not just the plagiarism, which is bad enough. It's the brazenness or unknowing quality of the whole thing that displays either jaw-dropping half-assedness, monumental laziness on a scale unheard of in our public discourse, or deep and abiding contempt for the audience.

Anybody who doesn't find this plagiarism to be WEIRD AS FUCK has some kind of mental defect, or is as dishonest as the Trump crew. It's fucking STRANGE.

And then they're going to gaslight it: no, they're common words! Truly bizarre and scary behavior from some of the worst people in the country.

If they told their mindless followers that Michelle must have a time machine, that SHE took Meliania's speech back in time to 2008 to give to herself, I have no doubt they'd accept it. They've spent the last 30 years conditioning those rubes to swallow everything they say.

because 93% of the speech was different. That's not how it works, Chris. All college students are warned that if their assignments contain any plagiarized content they get no credit for them, and might face discipline. You can turn in a 93% not-plagiarized paper and still flunk the course for turning in a 7% plagiarized paper. He's a lawyer, FFS; he should know better. But I guess he sold his legal knowledge along with his soul when he got in bed with the Trump campaign.
