He ran for President in 1996, 20 years ago.

She came to NYC in 1996. Do you really think a young model was reading about US politics as soon as she got to the US? I don't.

This reference to Bob Dole indicates to me that she did not write the speech at all.

If you can't tell the difference between duplicating idiosyncratic full clauses and paraphrasing trite and ubiquitous mere phrases, stop commenting on plagiarism until you've learned what it is.
