It bore no resemblance to the speech delivered last night. She says they are still trying to find out who the contractor was.
(note: the foregoing was not a joke. She said this at 1704 EDT live on MSNBC's MTP Daily. The rest is my take on things.)
I can tell her. It was the small storefront ghostwriting firm of Cut and Paste.

that it's a pair of well-known, respected, and frequently used Republican speech writers. Chuck Todd mentioned them by name, and his panel (including Hugh Hewitt) knew who they were.
One may have been Matthew Scully.
