trump's expertise is supposed to be project management

while we kick back and enjoy the fustercluck that is the donald's nomination ceremony, let us remember "the apprentice" and the donald's supposed expertise.

"the apprentice" was a game show that get contestants a series of business projects for them to manage -- essentially, here, make a lemonade stand, whoever sells the most lemonade wins this contest. ok, a bit more involved, but that's the concept.

it was all supposed to be about project management because the donald was the greatest project manager and he hires the best of the best and all that.

so, as i look upon the wreckage that is the rnc convention, i can't help but admire the donald's brilliant project management skills.

Trump has a golden touch for turning everything to shit.
And this is one hell of a shitshow. I couldn't imagine a
bigger disaster for the GOP. The one good thing this convention
has done is that it's rallied and energized the base...
the Democratic base... and showed independents and undecideds
what fascism really looks like up close. It ain't pretty.

8. What he really is is a promoter.

He's a self-promoter, and he's running for the chance to promote America, whatever he thinks that means.

Republicans always say that they want a businessman as President. They want someone who will bring in money, and that's really all that matters to them.

The GOP is the party of salespeople. Work for commission and never stop working. Kill yourself in order to make a life for yourself and your family. Those are their values, and that is the type of system you can expect from them. The rest is window dressing.
