(82,849 posts)Keep in mind that the Supreme Court has already ruled 9-0 that a sitting president can be compelled to defend a civil lawsuit against him, and participate in discovery (i.e., having his deposition taken). So I expect this to be a fit subject for discussion on the political talk shows: How much time would a President Trump have to spend going to court hearings, being deposed, and assisting his attorneys in defending himself against lawsuits?
