He comes off as "defending" Trump for not being able to pronounce a word, but in actual fact he's POINTING OUT (in case anyone missed it) that Trump can't pronounce Tanzania.

It's a way of calling him stupid (as in "You were stupid to not pick MEEEEEEE, a thrice-married philanderer just like you&quot while affecting a full-throated defense!

Ah, Newt....he was always good with a knife at close quarters! He hasn't lost any of that skill, it would appear...
