...that have thrown their support behind Donald Trump?
Can they really be trusted to work in the people's interest?
Would they follow Donald Trump to war?
The people that vote for these folks need to take a long hard look at just who is representing them in the Congress?
Their judgement seems to be severely flawed.

(44,988 posts)After Trump and his supporters self-destruct in November,
Ted wants to swoop in as the "I told ya so" last man standing.
The Ryan's and McConnell's will still have power but they'll
be pretty beat up for their Trump support.

(4,030 posts)The Republican Party is a bag of snakes, totally out of control with itself and its renegade members, and forced by neglect into the mess they're in. As for me, I'm glad as hell. The American people now know well that Republicans, by dictate, must grovel along behind a racist, homophobic, non-sensical, non-conservative blowhard with no actual policy plan whatsoever, ( the VP will be in charge of both foreign and domestic policies) presidential candidate.
After the presumptive dictator gets his rear end reamed in the upcoming election, the Reince will no doubt come out with another pointless and meaningless Republican introspective as to what their party need to do do " re-connect" with the voters. There is nothing more rewarding to the Democrats than to watch you do the same dumb stuff over and over again, since you don't quite seem to " get it". As much as I want to see Debbie Wasserman Schultz on unemployment, she should be joined at the hip with Reince Priebus.
