Did anyone catch Trump talking about infrastructre?

He got a golf clap at the convention after saying he would fix the roads bridges and airports. One of his talking heads mentioned it this morning. I don't think he will actually do it, I'm sure it's just another hollow promise along with every other thing he'll fix on Jan. 20th so we can wake up on the 21st in a crime free country celebrating the end of ISIS. It is a curious departure from the norm, with this issue likely to be mentioned at both conventions.

I thought you were asking if he had talked about infrastructure.

So apparently he has and has a $trillion dollar plan. His credibility is another issue.

I just haven't heard any discussion of it here or anywhere else. And yes, his credibility is a huuuge issue.

he makes. There seems to be no one who calls him on his statements or demands any accountability.

I sat through the whole stupid speech waiting for any elaboration. He not only doubled down on the vague promises, he added that everything would happen fast.

Having watched his fellow Republicans in (in) action these last seven years, and their sloth while Buckaroo Bush was in office, there is NO reason to believe that the Donald would have better luck with the let-it-all-fall-apart, no-new-taxes crowd that runs the Republican-controlled Congress and Senate than President Obama had.

Quite simply, the Republicans CAN'T be trusted to either build, maintain, or repair our country's taxpayer-funded infrastructure.

Repairing and rebuilding America's infrastructure begins with NOT voting for Republican newbie candidates and NOT voting to re-elect Republican incumbents.

No way any Repub will do that. Hell, we can't get it done on a local level, and the Congress is basically a bunch of "no-Obabmacare" robots. Pretty sad when fucking Paul Ryan, the libertarian, is trying to move shome shit through Congress against the wishes of his fellow Repubs. They've convinced their constituents that doing nothing is the best thing to do.

It's the best pathway to more Flint, Michigans.

infrastructure. It would be a popular thing to get accomplished, too, for it would create possibly millions of jobs. We need a Democrat to get it done, however. Republicans would give out contracts to their supporters and pay workers peanuts. It should have been passed back when we had a Democratic Congress after Obama was first elected.

They should have passed that first and then passed the health care bill after the 2010 elections. Poor strategy cost the Democrats majorities in 2010 and 2012. We should always pass bills that get people to work before doing anything else.
