Because that IS the job.

It's not about policy, or views, or platforms, or any of that stuff. It's not about liberal-conservative-progressive-moderate, or any of that stuff.

It's about raising money, keeping donors happy so they keep donating, raking in that cash, and getting that cash out to the candidates so they can win their elections. Oh, and making sure the local and state arms are doing what they need to do to put more Dems on the government payroll.

That's the job.
