until you'd have thought it was Chicago 1968! A shame that Rachael Meadow has sold out so badly.

I was really disgusted that they managed to find three disgruntled Bernie supporters who declared they would not vote for Hillary. And these were not short little interviews. They went on and on and all got to declare "no" when the breathless reporter asked, "so will you be voting for Hillary?" Laurence O'Donnell pointed out that these were not representative of the Bernie supporters, when he said that around 85% of them have said they'll vote for Hillary.

The result is it tends to give reports of images from 20,000 feet with no details, or it pushes ridiculous sample sizes into general representations.

Of course the 'television journalists' are gleeful. The conventions are news events that guarantee both over-time for the talking heads, and serve up with little effort, seemingly controversial subject matter that brings more viewers than the editorial/analysis they prattle on about for days.

Hillary supporter at a convention where she will be nominated, AND got more than 4M more votes than Bernie...what did you expect?

It was like watching the Super Bowl Pre-game show, and during the first 3 hours they interviewed the fans of the team that lost the AFC Championship Game.

It would be like broadcasting game 7 of this year's NBA Finals and interviewing Oklahoma City Thunder fans.
