Those are incorrect all to often. But I think it gets the idea across.

Look up the Cyrillic alphabet. The OP has the letters correct (AFAIK) except for my correct on Pence, which should be the first three letters in OP and ending in Tse, making four letters total for Pence.

Potemkin, a pretentiously showy or imposing façade intended to mask or divert attention from an embarrassing or shabby fact or condition.
