Myrtle Beach SC
My wife cracked this joke on me yesterday.
"Wow you have a great tan going. Should you be driving?"
Me (after I laughed): "The back windows of your car are tinted so they could only see me for the front" -- I drive the family truckster on trips.
Wife: "That's not going to help"
Me: "Well I do have blue eyes"
Wife: "Make sure you aren't wearing shades"

(14,525 posts)If you are craving Italian, Villa Romana is awesome. Make sure you get a 10% off coupon from a tourist booklet you find in hotel lobbies. And go hungry.

(182,632 posts)This place is full of crap chain restaurants.
So far we've been to Chesapeake House and Hoskins (last night). We are going to an all you can eat buffet just because I want to see how many crab legs I can actually eat. and cook out on the grill at our condo probably tonight.
On the way out we are hitting the Grand Strand Coffee Bar in Calabash for muffins and croissants - co-worker stumbled onto this place a few weeks ago. By the grace of GOD we are NOT going to eat dinner in Calabash this year - complete tourist trap.

(14,525 posts)I should have been more specific. There are 3 Villa ramonas. 2 serve only pizza, which is pretty good. Their sit down restaurant is what I enjoy.
I used to love Thorney's, even though it is a chain. After 3 so-so meals there I gave 'em up. Personally, I like to be able to chew my prime rib.
