Eastern KY is about 98% white, poor as hell, and reliable vote GOP. So many are on SS disability that it will make your head spin. They didn't wok in the coal mines while they were operating, only a small percentage of people did. The rest draw SS disability and other government assistance. Yeah, I've been there many times and know people that have moved away from there. Why doesn't the GOP hate them? They are mostly white.
