There is no law that forces a President to share such information with any candidate. Trump is a threat to our national security with his erratic and unpredictable behavior. Obama should be brought up on charges if he allows Trump access to any classified information.

...I would consider planting some uniquely false info in Trump's briefings, then wait to see if Putin acts on it. Of course Obama is way too scrupulous for such deviousness--but I'm not.

I have the same hope. And it wouldn't surprise me in the least if Trump braggingly blabbed classified info (or disinfo) to the Russians or anybody else, for no other reason than because he thought it made him seem important to have the info in the first place.
