... Be bigger news?

Seems like everything had fizzled once the cases started to fall apart.

2. Simple answer:

Yes.

PS: The cases didn't "call apart"...the cases were never properly prosecuted.

7. Yes yes... mock my fat phone finger....

Feel good about yourself now?

Either way, Mosby took a calculated risk that she would get at least one win and force one to testify against the others.

That never happened and combined with a complete lack of evidence you get what we see today.

3. I don't think Mosby wants to advertise how badly she screwed up.

She overcharged from the very beginning in an effort to make a name for herself, and now, after the acquittals, it's come back to bite her in the ass.

4. Yep

And complaining because the state didn't have a say in whether defendants got a jury trial or bench trial? Ridiculous.

6. MSNBC covered this egregious story on what is definitely

a "whack-a-mole" newsday. Bad timing for national discussion (maybe why the verdict was announced today?).

More men with badges get away with murder of the "depraved indifference" type at best. But this issue is unfortunately very far from "over," and Freddie Gray's tragic death will be discussed a lot.
