Didn't presidential candidate Bernie Sanders promise this?

Sanders said, "All the way to Philadelphia!"

He didn't concede.

He didn't congratulate his opponent for her historic primary victory.

He didn't suspend his candidacy.

He didn't release his delegates.

He didn't stop the roll call of every state.

What he did was keep campaigning, rallying, criticizing, taking contributions, asking for contributions.

Why are we so surprised and dismayed that his supporters and delegates act up at the Democratic Convention?

This is what he promised!

Probably during Hillary's acceptance speech.

2. That really pisses me off. Although I've been pissed at his not suspending or endorsing for a long

Time. I pretty much hate him for it.

5. Alerting as this is negative spin and obvious Bernie bashing

And it elides the difference between the loud handful of dead-enders at the convention with the majority of Sanders supporters who are now GE Hillary Supporters.

The primary-season framing of "Hillary Supporters" vs "Bernie Supporters" is a thing of the past

8. Given what their candidate said...

and well over a thousand of these delegates voted for him two days ago, I understand how they are not in a "unity" mood at this time.

When you think about it, they have every right to raise a ruckus.

Does this freak us out ? Oh, yes.

But...I'm a firm believer:

"Comfort the disturbed, disturb the comfortable."

7. If Hillary gets booed, the hecklers will think they're being the courageous voices of democracy.

The rest of the world will see entitled idiots trying to shout down a history making moment that was earned by the nominee.

Years from now, the protesters will brag to their daughters that they were there to witness the moment, but they'll remain curiously quiet about exactly what they were doing.

12. There's a spirit here that feels familiar

This reminds me of Rep. Wilson's "You lie!" shout.

9. I am not dismayed. I think "acting up" is A-OK sometimes.

I understand that posters here may have different viewpoints on a number of matters.

13. Sadly the day will come for primary warriors when everything can't be blamed on Sanders

Who then will be get the attribution of being the source of the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune?
