(115,656 posts)Bernie supports Hillary. Therefore those dead-enders can't be supporting Bernie. Don't tar Bernie with that brush.

(55,894 posts)Month after month of vilifying Clinton and claiming every election she won was stolen.
Sanders set up the dynamics responsible for those disruptors.

(19,001 posts)I voted for him because his ideas match mine slightly more closely than Hillary's, but I always knew Hillary was just about as Liberal as both of us.
After last night, I renounce Bernie and his supporters. They heckled war heroes, police officers, and our candidate for President. And Bernie did very little to try to make it right, he bares some responsibility for the delegates he chose. And he barely spoke out when they were causing trouble, you could tell he was bitter.
I had a post flagged, but last night, all I could think of then they started heckling a war hero who saved his brothers but lost others was Westboro Baptist Church. WBC too thinks that they are more right than anyone else, and they think that being right excuses any possibly outrageous behavior, like when they have a "God Hates F***" rally at the funerals of fallen soldiers. These fools last night were just as disgusting as Westboro Baptist Church protesters.

(64,955 posts)What did he do? He endorsed and is promoting Hillary for prez. If these 100 or so dullards didn't pay attention to him, it would seem more likely they were never really listening, even to him!
Renounce these hooligans all you want. But, what more could he have done other than, oh i don't know, publicly endorse his former opponent?

Perhaps Hillary can win some over for herself - her more sycophantic supporters make becoming 'Stronger Together' such a welcoming prospect.
