because no matter how wild the satirist made his vision, reality had a way of imposing itself upon the imagined world, often with much more devastating effect. He used the example of the Reagan White House objecting to the presence of Russian missiles in Cuba by staging an attack by US Marines against the US base at Guantanamo.
