First, The Russia story is a big deal. Second, watch to see if someone in the Trump campaign is rejected for a security clearance. If that happens it will be very damaging.

(12,904 posts)Why would a campaign manager even need a security clearance? How many people from a campaign are privy to any national security information? I wouldn't think that number would be very high. Clearances take time and money.
I could be wrong, but I would think it was someone higher up. And there are not many names up there.
Interesting.

(34,135 posts)This account of Trumps 30-year history of business with Russia and that of his advisers is based on interviews as well as a review of deposition transcripts and other court records in which Trump and his associates have discussed their overseas work. Trump declined to be interviewed for this article, as did top campaign aides and most members of his foreign policy team. The Kremlin also declined to comment about Trumps visit to Moscow.

I wonder what people will think when Benedict Donald's campaign people are denied clearance and he has to replace them.

(19,952 posts)that someone who was so connected to a Putin puppet, could be given sensitive security information that could affect American lives, and those of their allies.
AND bearing in mind the possibilities that Trump has massive financial ties to Russian Oligarchs, he needs to give complete financial disclosure to the vetting process.

(34,135 posts)Trump already has advocated that a foreign power hack US computers. What could he do with classified information to further endanger the US?
OnDoutside
(19,952 posts)in charge of the vetting process clear all those within the top of the Trump campaign (who require this knowledge), with the massive questions hanging over them, then the screams about Hillary's server will be laughable.
