The difference between voting for Trump and other candidates

Many of us have ended up voting for our party nominee - Democrats and Republicans - even when that nominee was not our first choice.

We consoled ourselves that the candidate, once elected, would have a solid staff and would work with Congress.

This cannot be said about Trump. He said, time and again, that he consults with himself only. Thus, all the Republicans - the moderate ones - who think that with a Republican Congress Trump would stick to conservative principles, or to a party platform kid themselves.
