Anyone watch the Libertarian debate? What say you? Should we fear them?

Couldn't watch.

2. A lot of people are deeply unsatisfied with the

two major candidates and they're looking for alternatives. Most of these people are independents, the very people who sway elections.

This year we have two extra candidates who have gotten some press, and some voters believe that their values could possibly be represented without so much compromise. Their candidates won't win, of course but for once the leaders of those parties will feel the sting of defeat and possibly change some of their ways by the time the next elections come along. Parties, whether Libertarian or Green, don't really matter anymore. What's important is that the message is received and considered.

3. I could only take about...

...minutes. They do not engage. Trump (in a negative way) and Hillary are engaging people. Gary and William are not... they (forgive the sexism) are old white men, with no dynamism. Bernie had a dynamic appeal. Gary also seems way too slick. Weld seems like he should be gardening and golfing.

Yes, they do take more votes from Hillary. I wonder how the media will play that... Ross Perot did not "win" the election for Bill Clinton, but the media played it that way and people still say he did.

4. no effect, according to this:

If Mr. Perot had not been on the ballot, 38 percent of his voters said, they would have voted for Gov. Bill Clinton, and 38 percent said they would have voted for President Bush. Of the 31 states where Mr. Perot garnered more than 20 percent, 17 were won by Mr. Clinton and 14 by Mr. Bush.

5. I think they hurt Trump the most

An example is the new New Hampshire poll out today:

When Libertarian Gary Johnson and Green Party candidate Jill Stein are omitted, Clinton's 15 point lead swells to 17 points.

6. Quite unimpressive

Which is a shame, because a stronger candidate might sway some Republicans.

7. I'm really not getting how a Democrat goes for the Libertarian Party.

While they're more known for being social lives of the party, their economics are beyond reprehensible. Not to mention their tendencies towards circular arguments are off-putting and their members are merely re-branded Republicans minus the Jesus.
