source: RawStory
" Clinton campaign press secretary Robby Mook issued a late-night statement on the bombshell in the recent New York Times detailing Donald Trumps campaign chair Paul Manafort and his questionable dealings in Ukraine.
Mook notes that the comes just before Trump is scheduled to give a major foreign policy address Monday on what his strategy will be if he is elected as president.
We have learned of more troubling connections between Donald Trumps team and pro-Kremlin elements in Ukraine, Mook said in the statement. Given the pro-Putin policy stances adopted by Donald Trump and the recent Russian government hacking and disclosure of Democratic Party records, Donald Trump has a responsibility to disclose campaign chair Paul Manaforts and all other campaign employees and advisers ties to Russian or pro-Kremlin entities, including whether any of Trumps employees or advisers are currently representing and or being paid by them.

(3,580 posts)That trump has spent $0 out of 80m his campaign is supposed to have, so what if it somehow wound up going to hackers in Russia via manafort to hack the election. Who knows, but that's what they say.

(34,120 posts)Besides, remember the $40 million Trump "lent" to his campaign and was supposed to write off - but didn't? I bet he pays himself every cent of that before all the money is gone.

(2,657 posts)he allegedly put into the primary contest but which, to a large extent, he paid to himself already through his own companies and properties being "used" for campaign purposes ALL THE WHILE this all being just a promotional scam for his soon-to-be-announced "Trump Cable News Network".

(34,120 posts)He's never run a business for the sake of running a business - he does it for his own profit and aggrandizement. Obviously I was not the first person to think of this - or even the first on DU. Someone else came up with the "Bialystock candidate" name. Then someone else posted the video.

(10,260 posts)Nothing posted over there about this...ANYWHERE as of midnight. Not a damn thing; it's like it doesn't exist for them yet. Buncha nonsense about what a terrible person Hillary is, Clinton foundation stuff, etc; it's like they all got a memo that said 'this story is from the nyt; therefore it's bullshit so just pretend it doesn't exist.
I'll give him credit, that's some damn strong kool-aid he's been serving them.

(37,540 posts)I am keeping a tab open and checking in to see how the braintrust there are reacting to this rather obvious news story. Nada, nothing, crickets.
It would seem to me that Russian trolls would be right at home on FR and none of these dopes would be the wiser. No one asks even a simple question, like, "why is it only DNC servers being hacked?" The hatred of Hillary and Democrats are so extreme that they really don't care if Russia is gaming our election. I've seen more than 1 comment posted that supports Putin and White Russian nationalism.
JimRob might want to keep his IP logs handy, in case the FBI needs to check them,

(21,506 posts)I have been convinced from the begining this was going to be the end result. There was never a moment I thought he had a chance to be potus or any of the other monsters he was on stage with for that matter. So from the get go this has been one huge trainwreck in slow motion for me of the political party I have long ago decided needed to implode.
Good stuff.
Can't wait to hear the next stupidity.

(45,806 posts)I want it to hang on until mid October. That way there's no way the Pub could replace him and even if they tried Ryan or Cruz or someone they like, there wouldn't be enough time for him to build support.
Please don't wish for him to be gone too soon!

(11,488 posts)We NEED tRump to stick around for another month at least. By then maybe there'll be enough evidence linking him to Manafort that he can be arrested at a campaign stop.
