Democrats Dog Republican Campaign With “Romney Economics: Middle class under the bus” tour

Mitt Romney is spending the next few days criss-crossing the country on a bus tour. We're hitting the road too—to spread the word that Romney economics throws the middle class under the bus.

We'll be delivering the truth about Romney's record that you won't hear from the candidate on his tour: that as governor of Massachusetts, Romney promised his state more jobs, less debt and smaller government—but delivered the opposite. And as a corporate buyout specialist, Romney spent nearly two decades putting profit before people, making millions as he sank companies into bankruptcy and put thousands out of work.

Between now and Monday, we'll be visiting New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Michigan. We'll be joined by people who lived through Romney Economics in Massachusetts, as well as local elected officials, teachers, firefighters, police officers, and Democratic volunteers. We kicked off the Romney Economics bus tour this morning in Exeter, New Hampshire. With the bus parked outside, the OFA New Hampshire office was overflowing with Obama supporters chanting "four more years" and "fired up, ready to go."

We heard from a Massachusetts teacher, a Massachusetts state representative who is "tired of Romney's distortions,"the president of the Professional Firefighters of New Hampshire, and others.
