These people are not only encouraged by tRump and spittle-flying GROPers since the 90s, but also by a persistent silence from Democratic Party "leadership." The far right knows this dynamic, and like the Highly Successful bullies they are, they are turned on by the victim's silence, and like the security videos of a thousand Cops and Most Shocking episodes, they move in and kick you until you are still, or they have spent themselves in euphoric violence. They not only hate liberals, they don't respect them in the least.
And they may represent more than 40% of the electorate and are in a position to expand that number.

(12,618 posts)Um, Rush, they have already done more to help Hillary Clinton more than anybody else ever could have by choosing Trump as their nominee and allowing him to be himself. That alone has pretty much assured a Hillary Clinton presidency.

(14,853 posts)I've seen it from Trump supporters. It's usually, "I don't like Trump, but he's not as evil as Hillary and Bill!"
That's followed by them spouting LIES from conspiracy nuts, such as the Clintons killing people who "get in their way" politically.
I could obviously understand their misgivings if the accusations were true, but anyone with a decent brain can determine it's unsubstantiated nonsense almost on par with the idea that "lizard people" are secretly running things.
