A tiny kitten was found paralyzed in his hindquarters. He was not able to move or feel his back legs when Whisker Stop, a rescue group in Rolla, Missouri took him in. A month later, this kitty surprised everyone with miraculous progress.
"Sweet little Flynt was surrendered to us by a good Samaritan, who knew he needed help," Kym McNulty, president of Whisker Stop told Love Meow. "Flynt, was unable to use his rear legs or tail. He was suspected to have suffered a soft tissue injury, leaving him a paraplegic."
His caregivers saw that fighting spirit in him, and were determined to help him get better.
A few weeks later, the little kitten made incredible improvement.
"With much TLC, exercise, massage and prayer, Flynt has shown signs of regaining use of muscles and feeling in his tail and legs," McNulty said. "These things gave us and Flynt hope for further recovery."
"We have developed a rehab plan of care and there is much hope he can regain use of his back legs!" Little Flynt also received specific foods and supplements to help him strengthen his muscles.
After several weeks of hard work, this happened. Flynt began to feel his hind legs and tail.

(4,940 posts)I'm already known as the Crazy Cat House............ we have a LITTLE girl (about 2 weeks) but have to finish the adoption/rescue process this evening and she is GORGEOUS and would like to marry Flynt! Got to get her healthy first. No photos yet.
I'm going to channel whiskerstop.
Meet Cinnamon. Rescued during a VERY cold winter - her military "family", yeah right, transferred so they dumped her just off Nordale Road. Ms. skin-and-bones-and hypothermia - and scared of people weighed 2 pounds when we found her, accidentally found. She lived 19 MORE years. And kicked every rescue kitty's butt until they played!

(68,504 posts)I had a tiny kitten living under my house reno garbage pile...we trapped him in a have a heart trap...and the girls named him Tango. We fed him cat formula...he was under two pounds when we found him...maybe even one...today he is an enormous cat ...turns out he is a Maine coon mix...During our reno, he got out one day from the bedroom and crawled into the wall...we took down walls in the living room and bedrooms...finally found him behind the basement wall...most expensive 'free ' cat ever. Also one of the sweetest cats I have ever had!
