Once upon a time, when I would run down at town lake, here in Austin, I would see here walking with a friend or two.
And everyone that passed her would say something along the lines of, "we miss you Anne!", "we love you Anne", "hope your having a great day Anne", "please run again Anne" or just the plain old, "Howdy, Anne!". And she would always answer, a howdy back, give a chuckle or a "I miss you too!"
She was just such a fine Woman. too good for the likes of the mouth breathers that inhabit the Texas government now.
She was the last bit of grace in this state.
