America's enemies would love to see a "President Trump."

Unfortunately, Americans who are uninformed, ignorant, bigoted, of just plain dumb, either don't know or don't care what the rest of the world thinks.

Citizens of every country on planet Earth are watching our election with disbelief. They can't grasp how "THE (self-defined) GREATEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD" could be screwed up enough to nominate an obviously mentally/intellectually unfit candidate as their leader.

Let's face it. Most of us believe that Trump will lose the election, perhaps by a large percentage. So why are we so on edge and nervous? Because we can't be sure that will happen. We can't be sure that enough of our fellow citizens have enough common sense to vote against an unpredictable, bigoted, dangerous candidate.

It's a justified fear. None of us know how many voters will buy into Trump's latest con job, or how many states will do everything possible to block minority voters from casting their votes.

Wingnuts, haters and fringe lunatics are out there doing everything possible to get Trump into the White House. Are we out there backing Hillary with as much zealotry as our enemies are backing Trump? I don't think so.

And that means that Trump can win.

So here's my question. What can each and every one of us do to prevent it?

On edit: Knock on doors? Volunteer to make calls? Volunteer to drive disable people to the polls? Write letters to your local newspapers? Try to show friends and/or relatives that by voting for Trump, that they are putting themselves and their well-being in danger? There are many things you can do. Just do it.

"The American people are SMART!"
"The American people are NOT dumb!"
"The American people will do the RIGHT thing!"

ummm...not buying it. Nope.

All you have to do is look around and see who's been elected (and re-elected over and over) by the "wise" American people.

fucking pathetic.

Nobody really knows what a Trump presidency would bring. He doesn't have well thought out policies - he makes it up as he goes along. So if he wins there will be chaos.

No it doesn't. It really does not.

The demographic challenges he faces are insurmountable and he is only making those numbers worse with every single day.

The cards were stacked against any republican candidate because of the demographic challenges and have been for over a decade.
That is why they produced the report http://s3.documentcloud.org/documents/623664/republican-national-committees-growth-and.pdf after the election.

Trump has done nothing to help with anything in that report and has in fact made it much much worse. Yes he will get an embarrassing number of votes. But he has zero shot at winning the election. One need only look at the electoral map and the poling for each state to see that him becoming president is just not doable short of the democratic candidate dropping out of the race. Hillary is one of the most divisive figures in politics and she is still going to walk away with it.
