I just walked out to the corner and there was no taco truck.

Now, I have to get in my car and drive up to the Taco Bell ! I'm pissed !

I wish these politicians would stop making all these promises.

I may as well get a bean burrito while I'm there... :sigh:

If she's elected, you'll get your taco trucks, for sure. Trump's surrogate says so. All the more reason to get out there and get to work.

There are a couple of gourmet restaurants in town but for poorer folk McDonald's is about as ethnic as it gets.

Did I come off sounding snooty?

Those dishes are standard fare in Chin and Taiwan. Invisible in the US except big cities, pretty much.. Not expensive at all...

I've been to a restaurant that probably has them but New Jersy is a little far for me to drive tonight. I just did a search for gyros near me and came up with mostly Italian restaurants. Italian!

Fortunately I had home concocted tacos for lunch so I don't feel too deprived, but this town definitely needs a taco truck.

And a gyros truck.

Except, the bank is.. chase.. POOP !!

BUT, no taco truck !!!

And no gyros of which I am aware.. small town.

BUT-- we do have an absolutely DYNAMITE m
Mexican restaurant.. Owner is from Jalisco, I think Colima.. ooooooohhhhh boy!-- tonight... a Quesadilla, with salsa verde, beans and rice, and several tequilas. They also have a tequila bar and he really knows tequilas...

Arriba, arriba ! Or whatever....

in California. It was sort of Mexican and even had mariachis until the tenants upstairs complained. The specialty was abalone cocktail topped with chopped onion, tomato and cilantro. The owner used to drive to Mexico for the abalone.

Those were my cerveza days.

But we have some real tacos in a little place in my community. I am hungry. Maybe my husband will go get some for us. No truck there, but the business is on a corner.

There are some other vacant corners here. Maybe I should invest in trucks.

All the more reason to vote for Hillary, then. Under her presidency, there will be taco trucks in every city corner throughout the country, serving the delicious dish. So good.
