Right now he is doing everything -- and I mean everything -- in his power to disarm you and the rest of America.

He's getting so desperate that he is sinking really low. So far he has:

Ordered his Justice Department to target gun shops and ammunition suppliers by attacking their bank accounts under the chilling name of Operation Chokepoint (this is key, and I'll get back to it in a minute),
exploited terrible church-shooting tragedies to demand more power to steal your gun rights,
gone around Congress by using regulations instead of legislation to change the rules for gun ownership,
planted left-leaning, anti-gun judges throughout the Federal court system,
connived with the United Nations on a global treaty to ban private gun ownership, and,
bought up billions of rounds of ammo to prevent We, The People, from getting hold of any!

Like every tyrant before him, he understands how to play it. Just like Hitler, Stalin and Chairman Mao, he knows you must disarm the populace first. That way no one can fight back -- and from then on, you can do as you please.

Just like AM hate radio, the gun nut groups spew out daily concoctions of silly stories and mass exaggerations just to get the sheep angry, and get their money. The gun manufacturers rely on the sheep to remain angry so they keep acquiring more and more guns and ammo.

4. Total BS from the NRA

They use this every election to try and rally their base, and hope they can snare a few new idiots along the way. I remember when president Obama ran the first time, and they used the "he will take away you guns" BS, and they did it agains the second time. About 3 years into president Obama's first term, I recall seeing a lot of ads in the newspaper from some of these "morons" who bought the NRA BS, loaded up on guns and ammo, and were now selling them. Many of the ads stated were for assault rifles, and they were still in the box, never used, and hundreds of rounds of ammo to go with the rifle. Thousands of dollars spent for something they never needed, and never used.

I think a lot of those who buy up guns and ammo, actually thought they would have to use those weapons to defend themselves against a government take over. I know that in my area there are a lot of nuts who buy into every conspiracy they hear, and they want to make sure they are well armed when the time comes. Gun companies love these idiots.

5. Operation Chokepoint

is basically investigating and pressuring banks to close accounts of those suspected of money laundering. It targets more businesses than gun sales.

The 1st thought that comes to mind...If you aren't doing anything illegal, there's nothing to worry about.

On the serious side, if reports on how it operates are true, it stinks. Today gun shops, porn actors, online gambling are targets. get someone like Pence in there and Planned Parenthood would be a target.

If the government wants to go after money laundering, go after money laundering. Don't force the banks to close the accounts on the probability of a law being broken. Prove it in a court and seize their assets.
