BREAKING: Trump Loses Lawsuit For Ripping Off Small Business, His Punishment Will Make You Smile

It turns out that Donald Trump lost big in a Florida court while he was busy winning the Republican Party nomination at the Republican National Convention last week.

According to the Miami Herald, Circuit Court Judge Jorge Cueto ruled in favor of a local paint store in a case regarding Trump’s unpaid bills. The case, heard in a Miami-Dade County courtroom, resulted in an order for the Trump’s National Doral Miami golf resort to pay the small family business almost $300,000 in attorney’s fees.

Apparently, Trump tried to rip off the small business, The Paint Spot, in regards to the final payment on a contract sum of $200,000. The final payment was for $34,863 for paint used to renovate a home located on Trump’s “Blue Monster” golf course in 2014.

Trump’s National, the company named in the lawsuit, has insisted that it has “paid enough” for the paint sold, regardless of the amount on the contract. The Paint Spot then exercised their rights by placing a lien on the resort property. This resulted in Judge Cueto ordering the foreclosure and sale of the resort to satisfy the lien.

Trump's attorney says 18 of those liens have been satisfied
August 11, 2016 10:30AM

Donald Trump’s Trump National Doral was just hit with its 23rd lien over $236,472 in unpaid work related to the resort’s three-year renovations.

The $255 million renovation project was completed in June, but construction firm Straticon claims the Republican presidential nominee’s company has yet to pay. The Martin County-based contractor filed the lien against Trump Endeavor on Tuesday, according to a Miami Herald gossip column.

Trump’s attorney told the Herald that 18 of the 23 liens have been satisfied, and that they have made payments. “On a project of this magnitude with hundreds of contractors, 20 liens isn’t a big deal. It’s a complicated project, and what’s important is the fact things are getting paid,” he said.

In July, a Miami-Dade judge ordered that Trump Endeavor pay a small paint shop nearly $300,000 in attorney’s fees over unpaid paint bills totaling $34,000 ...

He will tank the whole world economy and he doesn't even understand it. Imagine if Hillary said this, but the media doesn't care. He stiffs suppliers and contractors on the last payment saying "I paid enough." Since he's a fat cat with a team of lawyers, most realize they just did the job for cost and swear never to deal with him again.

This store sued. Good for them. Good luck to them on collecting a dime unless the judge put a lien on the golf course.

Sun Sep 4, 2016, 02:43 PM
Sep 2016

Said he was involved for a time with painters on Trump projects some years ago.

Rule one was to bid low to get the contract with the understanding/hope job change orders would bring you back to profitability. When the change orders came they would jack their costs+profit price up 200% and present it to Trump.

Trump would go batshit and threaten not to pay. There would be a shouting match; finally the painters would piss , bitch, and moan - and then cut their bill 30% while Trump preened that he had "won" another "art of the deal" negotiation, proving that he was the master.

The painters left looking pissed and angry until they were alone and then would laugh and do their slap-happy dance, so happy Trump had unknowingly boosted their profits!!! Said that was the usual dog-and-pony dance they would do with him and Trump never caught on. (And other contractors did the same thing; not just the painters.)
