What he said last night about the SECRET & CONFIDENTIAL information he receives is off limits for political discussion.
I've already contacted my two state senators. Here is what I said. Yes, you can copy and paste this too if you like:
I am asking if you could begin the process for censuring Donald Trump for divulging information he acquired during his Intelligence Briefings. He's crossed a red line that has been respected by both parties and does so in a cavalier way, as if to disrespect the work of the intelligence community, as well as, potentially endanger every American with his reckless comments.
Thanking you in advance.

We may not be able to put a muzzle on his other reckless comments, but some things go above reproach and this was it. No more loose lips Donald, you stupid motherf---er!

I'd rather err on the side that Harry Reid might author a letter to Trump's campaign and read it out loud from the senate floor...and the news that it would generate.

And it's not up to us or the Senate to do anything, but up to those giving the intelligence briefings. I wouldn't be all that surprised if they have not told him anything truly classified, or of a nature that would matter if he did spill the beans.

(53,410 posts)As long as they're not yet the President they get only the superficial intelligence regarding ongoing activity. They don't get briefed the way they will when one of them becomes President.
I'm sorry I don't have a link. I heard it when someone in intelligence gathering services, maybe the CIA, was interviewed on either CNN or MSNBC.
But I'm not making light of your concerns. I have them also.
