"But later Sunday afternoon, Clintons doctor released a statement through the campaign explaining the nature of the former secretary of states ailment.
Secretary Clinton has been experiencing a cough related to allergies. On Friday, during follow up evaluation of her prolonged cough, she was diagnosed with pneumonia, Dr. Lisa R. Bardack said in a statement obtained by Time magazine."
She probably should have had a coconut water to sip on and a hat on. I wonder if she wears a cooling vest under that blazer, but I'm guessing with the probable kevlar she was wearing, this may have been too bulky as it was, and yet she still went and met with hundreds of people.
Needless to say, the video of her leaving Chelsea's with NO aide, and stopping for a bit to take the photo, and getting into her SUV was done to show she's fine, and mind you, she did all this not feeling well, and then finding out she's got pneumonia.
They can have their 24 hour news cycle off this, but when the debate rolls around - I'm certain she's going to be ready to rumble!

(21,056 posts)I had pneumonia a few years ago in my 30s, and it wasn't fun. Exhausted more than anything. She deserves our support for battling Trump so hard, and hopefully beating him in a few months and in great health doing so.

(111,245 posts)I had no idea that I was more tired than usual because of walking pneumonia, but there it was. 72 hours after I started the antibiotics, I was feeling much better, although I then had to cough up all the glop.
I hope her recovery is rapid, also. It usually is.

(21,056 posts)references that song! lol.
My friend said even MSNBC is acting like she's on her death bed. Of course, doing their corporate orders of helping Drumf! I hope she heals up fast and comes out swinging at the debates about his lack of knowledge and qualifications to be president.

(35,015 posts)I posted a few times earlier that her wooziness today was probably nothing, but it ended up being something. Something that can affect anyone, especially those who are around a lot of people all the time. Allergies irritated her airways leaving her susceptible to a contagion that caused pneumonia.
Of course I don't expect there will be get well wishes from Trump supporters or the media. They are looking for anything to blow out of proportion.

(21,056 posts)my friend said MSNBC was not as bad as Faux News has been proclaiming its the end of her campaign, but that they still were acting ridiculous earlier today. then now we hear she's got pneumonia.... and has had it diagnosed since Fri, so will they genuinely give her well wishes and stop making up BS in the media. As for Drumf, he'll put out a get well that will nauseate us and hopefully she wont hear it, because it will make her upset because he's a dipwad dumdum... his sons are even worse somehow.

It's survivable.
