Stinky The Clown

It occurs to me, as I hear what the polls are being purported to show . . . .

. . . . . is that forces in some ways similar to the Obama 2008 win, and to a slightly lesser degree the 2012 win, are working for Trump this cycle.

In 08 and 12 African Americans voted enthusiastically and in massive numbers for Obama. In so doing, they saved this country.

Literally.

This cycle, Trump has energized the dumb fuck white voter. Every pathetic hater, racist, misogynist, you-name-it-phobe is on his side, no matter what. With the increasingly rapid change in our country's demographics, this may well be their last political gasp. And they know it.

I suspect the dumb fuck white voter community (<---sarcasm and satire) is of a size similar to the African American population, and maybe even a little bigger. They are a real and newly reenergized force.

Our job is to get out the vote. SERIOUSLY get out the vote.

The Stinky family has traditionally walked neighborhoods to knock on doors and talk to people one on one. Find some activity and do it. We MUST turn this election around and put HRC in the White House.

I particularly like this:

In 08 and 12 African Americans voted enthusiastically and in massive numbers for Obama. In so doing, they saved this country.

Literally.

Excellent to make this point.

Just like Obama called them "lazy gang-banger blacks" (<---sarcasm and satire) when they voted for him...

Makes sense.

I doubt it. Trump didn't create them; he united them. With (I suspect) vanishingly rare exceptions, if those dumbfuck white voters were going to vote at all, they were going to vote Republican.

Failing to pander to the racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic deplorable demographic is no lapse of campaign strategy.

Goal should be to unite everyone.

You just can't write off any segments of the population. The result of this election is just too important.

Your local KKK was never going to vote for Obama, so every dollar thrown down that futile hole would have been a dollar wasted.

It's a numbers game, and it's always been a numbers game, and even the most naive campaign strategist knows this. That's why Dems don't waste all that much time courting the far left, since those voters are more likely to vote Dem than Republican, but those "moderate" or "independent" voters toward the middle promise a much more valuable payoff.

Strategically, the general election most certainly isn't about "uniting everyone." It's about securing a majority and winning the Presidency. Thereafter, the President can work to "unite everyone," but first they have to get into the Whitehouse.

not with the stupid part but I do want their votes. They can be stupid all they want. I do not wan't Trump in the white house and if the stupid votes help keep him out I will take them.

Stupid is not solely the domain of the right. There is plenty of stupid on the left as well they are just typically stupid about different things.

It seems to be very difficult to budge Trump types to change their opinion of him, no matter what he says or does.

You would need to sit them down on a couch for intensive one on one therapy now.

Gentle persuasion takes time.

Wish there was some effective way to communicate to them but it looks like we will have a bunch of disgruntled ones screaming about rigged elections after Nov 7. Led by Mr Liar.

The Repugnants want that Supreme Court nomination even with Trump as POTUS. And the Senate of course so Midgy McConnell can continue to undermine the next President at every turn.

Some sensible ones may think that HRC could not be so bad after all. Lots of secret voting for her I suspect.

Trump cannot win if Dem turnout is high. If we approach 2008 levels he has no chance. His only chance is that people stay home. Because his folks won't.
