As if PR thinks he's in a position to make demands on T-rump. What's will he do, round up the crazy-right caucus and pass a resolution? I'd say he's delusional except that it's just another of his attempts to cover his a$$.

(5,624 posts)Paul Ryan Says Donald Trump Should Release Tax Returns
Senate Democrats pressed the issue on Thursday, with Sen. Ron Wyden (D., Ore.) seeking a vote on legislation to require presidential nominees to release their tax returns. Republicans blocked his effort by taking a dig at Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, saying they would only go along if Democrats agreed to allow a vote on stripping the security clearance of anyone found to have been extremely careless in handling classified information.
The question for Donald Trump is why are you running for president? Sen. Chris Murphy (D., Conn.) said. Are you running to protect our national security or are you running to protect your familys financial interests? And we cant know the answer to that question without these tax returns.
Donald Trump Jr., the oldest son of the GOP nominee, said releasing his fathers complicated tax returns would serve as a distraction to the campaign.
Because hes got a 12,000-page tax return that would create
financial auditors out of every person in the country asking questions that would detract from [his father's] main message, Mr. Trump said in an interview with the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review published Wednesday.
