Thom Hartmann brought up something today I hadn't thought about.

A lot of Hillary's ads focus on the possible negative outcomes of voting for Trump. Thom said today that Hillary has run very few--if any--ads focusing on what the positives are of voting for her. I hadn't thought about that before, but I'm not sure I've seen a Hillary ad that focuses on reasons to vote for her.

The positives Clinton offers should be obvious, especially to women and minorities as she is the only candidate interested in protecting their rights.

Whose vote would be affected by an ad. The strongest argument against Donald is how unprofessional, lacking in basic class and disgusting he is and how we would be ashamed before the world for having such a person in that office.

And the close ones will be seized on by the media and used to promote the idea of a razor thin race. All to promote advertising in the same media.

but they're appealing only to a portion of the electorate. Need to put the positives in, so the 'persuadables' will have a reason to vote for her.

that she has been put through. So, Thom, how many explicit policy plans has Trump presented? He won't because he has none. HRC will start airing more explicit ads after the debates.

I'm going to take Thom Hartmann with a grain of salt here, because I don't think he "gets" Hillary Clinton at all, but I have seen positive ads. And, I think her strategy now is to get people aware of all the reasons that they should not vote for Trump - plant the seed, so to speak - and then do a blitz of positive ads in the last couple of weeks before the election.

I don't know if that's what will happen, but that that's what I think will happen.

If she was running only the positive ads, Thom Hartmann would be complaining that negative ads work better, and that she was missing the opportunity to use Trump's own words against him.

That as a propagandist for reactionary and authoritarian regime, he is himself a reactionary authoritarian, and not someone who should be cited on a Democratic board.

I've seen plenty of Hillary ads. Hell, go to her YouTube channel and you'll find all kinds of positive Hilary ads.

Most of the really anti-Trump ads come from SuperPACs.

He isn't looking for possitive Hillary adds.

WASHINGTON (AP) — It would take almost 14 days of eyes glued to the television to watch all the feel-good Hillary Clinton ads that have aired since the general election campaign began last month.

Meanwhile, anyone flipping through the channels looking for positive ads about Donald Trump would be disappointed: He hasn't yet put up a spot appealing to November voters, and groups supporting him have been similarly silent.
