How many people will vote for Trump because "he seems like a guy I'd like to have a beer with"?

Or for a similarly shallow, petty reason?

2000 and 2004 taught me to never underestimate the stupidity of American voters. A lot of people support the guy because "he tells it like it is" or whatever, and don't seem to realize that a presidential candidate needs to be held to a much higher standard than someone running for Howard Stern's job.

Donald Trump doesn't drink alcohol.

But that's not why he's an idiot.

that didn't stop them talking about his as exactly that, someone you'd like to have a beer with.

my guess was always that was why he liked soup so much -- they spiked his for him so he wouldn't be seen "drinking". there were also several times where he was oddly mia for several days. my guess is, on a bender.

were either attempts to sober him up or opportunities to let him get as shitfaced as he wanted for as long as he wanted, safely out of the public eye before he had to return and be all Presidential.

Remember that he took one long vacation just prior to 9-11, and it wasn't long after that we had the infamous pretzel incident.

He strikes me as the person who corners you at a dinner party, starts talking to you about himself and doesn't shut up or let you get a word in edgewise.

You can't even claim that he's likeable like that.
