Republican "logic"

It's been a very long time since Republicans were accused of genuinely caring about constituents. Case in point, their very nasty reasons for cutting things like Food Stamps (SNAP) and other programs that help the less fortunate.

Where I live, the Board of County Commissioners has been exclusively Republican for 25 years. One of their tasks is to oversee operations at the county's Department of Health and Human Services, and that might just have something to do with letters to some SNAP recipients explaining an “increase in monthly benefits from $98 to $91.”

Berlitz should come up with a book that translates what Republicans say to what Republicans mean.
