General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsDear Hillary: there is great value in REST.
She sounds much better, calmer. Her speech was good and sounded much more sincere.
I'm a strong believer in the saying, "a strength overplayed is a weakness". And, "sometimes, less is more".
Her habit of working hard, to the limits, is a huge strength, but BALANCE is important, REST is important.
If she did 20% LESS, and used that time to truly rest, she'd probably be perceived as more grounded, sincere, genuine, and happy. People like happy people better.
And that makes rest and happiness an important path to success.

(16,171 posts)People that work for me. There's a time to push yourself at 110%. But if you do it all the time, you miss out on important opportunities for reflection, balance, re-energizing yourself. In business, some people focus so much on constant hard work that they create a negative environment around them, which doesn't always have the result they are seeking.

(19,804 posts)Everyone needs to quit watching her every breath like it's her last.
My mom is almost 10 years older than HRC.
The same thing happened to her. Pneumonia just beginning, but it was after a bad fall, and she has heart failure and COPD.
Back to good after 2 z- packs.
I'd worry more about Maggoty Max and his extra 50 or more pounds and mysterious health history.

(16,171 posts)And I hope she takes time to REST regularly WHEN she becomes PRESIDENT.
Not because she's weak, but because it makes people enjoy life a little more and maybe have a little better presence and relaxed humor.
