Trump booth at Town Day

Today was Town Day in Arlington, MA, and I was pleased to see many people wearing Clinton/Kaine buttons and stickers. The kids I was with went eagerly from booth to booth collecting free candy. To my dismay they headed for a booth I shrank from like it was a rattlesnake. I called them back but a woman shouted to them, "All are welcome!" I sputtered as I gathered my group and whisked them away, "No they are not to go anywhere near you!"

If only I had thought to say, "RUN kids, it's the basket of deplorables!" I would have been so happy with myself.

Arlington isn't exactly a hotbed of liberalism but it's not a hotbed of brain dead conservatism, either.

2. I would have asked the Deplorables,

"How can you support a man, who has stiffed thousands of workers and small business contractors out of their rightfully-earned pay for labor and services? How can you support a man, who's had 3500 law suits filed against him for non-payment?"

"How can you support a man, a self-proclaimed multi-billionaire, who picked up $150,000 in 9/11 recovery money?" I guess Donald Trump will always make a good living by what he steals out of blind men's cups (h/t Mil Lampell, Pete Seeger and Woody Guthrie).
