I eventually get "Well I just think we need a businessman and/or conservative...". If they have half a brain and can be reasoned with they wouldn't be supporting Trump in the first place. You find people you thought were reasonable are pretty messed up

The response is usually "He's as successful business man and he says what he believes. No PC talk, and I like that."

OR

"He's NOT a politician! I'm very disgusted with ALL the crooks who keep getting reelected and keep screwing things up. I figure someone like Trump can't possibly do any worse, and MAYBE will fix some things."

There's no way I've found to get them to actually THINK! The only thing I found that works is for The Con himself to do something they find unacceptable. One of my friends DID drop his Trump support because of the way he treated thee Gold Star family. That single act changed his mind and nothing I could have said would have done that.
