http://www.thisamericanlife.org/radio-archives/episode/562/the-problem-we-all-live-withThey gave it the entire hour. The story was about Michael Brown's school and some children who went there and their struggles to get a decent education.
Very sad.

(9,350 posts)Listening to that town hall meeting about integrating the white and black school districts was shocking. Anyone who has been shocked by President Obama's treatment as President should listen to that town hall and you will understand why he was treated so poorly. I am not in any way trying to blame President Obama. My point is that this country was not aware of how much racism still existed in this country. We think there is little to no racism in America because blacks and whites still mainly live in segregated communities. Force those communities to live together, or even to go to school together and you see the racism come out.

I can stream it of course, but somehow that doesn't always work out for me.
