I didn't see this and started another thread. From the stories I've seen, this guys car broke down on his way home from a community college class. Some asshole in a helicopter said "He looked like one bad dude". Why? Because he was black?

I believe she was first on the scene. Supposedly he wasn't following her commands. I assume an officer needs assistance call went out which would cause other cops to race to the scene.

She fucked up big time.

I honestly think they have these cops so amped up with the idea that any encounter can be deadly to the cops so they train the cops shoot first and ask questions later.

Especially when the suspect is a "bad dude" -AKA Black. Yes racism has a ton to do with it.

I wonder how the advent of police dash cams has affected both the training and fear cops have.

I remember in the 80s when police dash cams were being installed everywhere. I remember seeing the first images of cops being murdered during traffic stops and how the police were thankful they had video to train future officers.
