Uncomfortable feeling that NY/NJ bombings were exploratory. .

Watching Rachel's discussion on the different types (in construction and explosive chemistry), and knowing that the suspect was discovered sleeping in a local doorway make me think he is just a handy stooge.

Is a local cell testing efficacy?

Just from the placement of the bomb.

I would think our intelligence would have a file on every person that has visited the Middle East, along with Afghanistan and Pakistan, within the last two years.

That should be a red flag, imo.

Honestly, of all of the various things that can happen to me in the course of a day, terrorism is not even in the top 100.

Yes, he was a half-baked moron.

The idea that these idiots have some massive brilliant scheme is bizarre and never borne out by the evidence. They're idiots.

That definitely felt like a test

He/She used TATP explosive, which is the Euro-Jihadi favorite. I think Ahmad Khan Rahami used Tannerite.

Smells a little off that a bomber sets off a bomb on a Saturday in NYC and managed to find two different locations where there weren't people. The Boston bombers didn't have much problem figuring out where the people would be when they pulled the crime they pulled.

Not a CT type person, so i'm not going to extrapolate, but this whole thing has started awfully suspiciously.

This doesn't strike me as anything more.

Inspired by Trump's message of "if they piss you off, hit 'em hard, punch their lights out."
